CurvaFix and Orthopedic Trauma: Market Access and Clinical Implications

CurvaFix, Inc. has been awarded a Technology Breakthrough Designation by Premier, Inc., giving the company’s pelvic fixation technology prioritized national market access.

The designation is expected to facilitate access to roughly two-thirds of U.S. healthcare providers through Premier’s group purchasing and system partnerships, supporting faster procurement decisions and broader device availability across health systems.

The CurvaFix System uses a curved fixation construct that conforms to pelvic anatomy, offering load-sharing across curved corridors and engineered stability where straight implants are limited. Its contour-matched design aims to improve construct purchase and distribute forces along native anatomical arcs, which is expected to enhance biomechanical stability in complex pelvic fracture patterns. It may also reduce postoperative pain and support earlier mobilization compared with conventional straight implants.
